Update on script writing

My partner (Isa) and I created the script to simply write down the dialogue between the characters but knew that it was completely different than from an authentic movie script. We decided that since we were learning how to create a film opening, we wanted to learn how to do every step of the way (correctly). So, I did some research regarding the format for movie scripts and used that knowledge to edit my script.

I learned that a script should have the text in a 1 in. margin when describing the scene and/or stage directions, the name of the character in bold and all caps in 3.7 in. margin and the dialogue should be in a 2.5 in. margin. In addition, you should describe the scene and explain whether it's interior (INT.) or exterior (EXT). All of this should be in 12 point courier font and stage direction should be in bold and italicized.
